The AQUATO®MINI-KOMPAKT small wastewater treatment plant

Mechanical cleaning

The contaminated with raw materials wastewater flows into the first chamber (1) of the bioreactor, with a mechanical pre-cleaning takes place by means of the removable catcher for coarse materials. The pre-cleaned wastewater flows into the sludge space (2) of the bioreactor. The sludge compartment is further divided by a series of four internal partitions which ensure optimum mixing, without the use of mechanical parts or pumps. This increases the reliability and service life. From the sludge space, the wastewater flows through an opening in the partition into the activation space (3).

Biological cleaning

In the aeration room oxigen conditions for the activated sludge are maintained by means of aeration. From the activation space, the activated sludge flows through an opening into the secondary clarification room (4). In sedimentation of the activated sludge from the sewage water, the activated sludge is sucked out of the secondary clarification room in the form of return sludge with a mammoth pump into the sludge and aeration chamber. The clarified water flows through the flow regulator and drain line (5) out of the tank of the plant. In order to increase the performance of the small sewage sludge and to avoid the rinsing out of the activated sludge, the system is equipped with a flow regulator. This type of drainage forms a buffer zone (6), which is used in impulsive (bathtub, washing machine, shower, etc.) inflow of wastewater

Derivation of fully biological clarified wastewater

If possible, the discharge into a surface water should take place. If, however, no discharge into an above-ground waters is possible because e.g. the receiving water (river, stream, etc.) is too far away, it is possible to realize a surface infiltration into the subsoil after examination of the admissibility of water management.
