Declaration of Performance

Since March 2020, when the new Waste Water Ordinance came into force, the DIBt has no longer issued or extended any general approvals for the construction of small wastewater treatment plants. Exceptions are retrofit kits, for which DIBt continues to issue the permits.

According to European guidelines, a declaration of performance from the manufacturer with information on the CE marking according to DIN EN 12566-3 is issued instead. As before, small sewage treatment plants are examined and documented for all their standardized effectiveness parameters in notified testing institutes.
